The DIG.I.T.ABLE project successfully concluded with its Final Conference and Final Multiplier Event, held in a hybrid format in Brussels, Belgium, on the 7th of October. These events brought together key stakeholders and served as a platform for sharing knowledge and best practices on inclusive digital education.
The event began with welcome remarks from EVTA, followed by a presentation from NRCB and Studio Saperessere, which highlighted the project’s relevance, objectives, target audience, and main results. This was followed by a panel discussion titled “Innovative Teaching Approaches for Inclusive Education”, where speakers shared best practices and introduced inspiring initiatives such as the E-MPACT project and the Bemyvega initiative. The discussion emphasized the importance of accessibility in the broader sense of the world, focusing as well on under-resourced areas where the access to this equipment is more challenging and fosters a digital divide.
After the panel, EVALUATE and EVTA introduced Project Result 3: The Replicability Toolkit, a comprehensive tool designed to enable other organizations and VET providers to replicate DIG.I.T.ABLE’s results and adapt them to different learning contexts. The toolkit serves as a valuable resource for promoting inclusive education across diverse vocational training environments.
The Final Conference and Multiplier Event marked a significant milestone in the DIG.I.T.ABLE project’s journey, reinforcing its impact on fostering more accessible and inclusive online education across Europe.
