Inclusive Political Engagement: Empowering Individuals with Disabilities in EU Elections

Our mission is to inspire individuals with disabilities to actively participate in the upcoming European elections, contributing to the ongoing advancement of legislation for an improved quality of life.

So far, great progress has been made for more than 100 million people with disabilities, including the introduction of the European Disability Card, the European Accessibility Law, the Web Accessibility Directive, and the Equal Treatment in Employment Directive.

Despite these notable achievements, there remains a considerable amount of work ahead. The EU occasionally overlooks the inclusion of individuals and organizations representing people with disabilities in legislative processes and decisions. Challenges persist, such as limited accessibility to justice, educational opportunities, and the pursuit and retention of gainful employment for individuals with disabilities.

Let us join forces towards building a society that is more more inclusive, just and egalitarian society.
